With a new year comes bigger challenges and opportunities. Beat the challenges and grab the opportunities with an equal zeal. Happy New Year!

Also I jumped in the New Year here in America. Even though it's nine hours later than in Switzerland. I think that is really funny! How can a new year start here a few hours later than on another place? I think that is weird.. but whatever ;)

To be really honest, my New Year's eve wasn't really intresting. We were at the cabin, watched an old movie - which was really boring - I tryed to not look at it, because I didn't like it and i didn't wanna waste the last hours of this year with watching that stupid movie, but it was hard because there was nothing else to do! haha... So the minutes passed by very very slowly ;) The dinner was really good though! we had prime ribs, roles, green beans, mashed patatoes and punch. :) And we also had a lot of fireworks, that was fun!

The time at the cabin was great, it was a good way to go away from all the holiday stress :) Sitting in front of the fire and watch a movie while it is snowing outside - that's what i understand under winterbreak. One day, we went shooting and i shot a gun and a hand gun for my first (and i think only) time. It was lots of fun! Those things are really strong!

We also went snowshoeing and snowboarding with all the cousins one day. Stetson, Sterling and Cynthia are really good snowboarders! All that reminded me on switzerland - the pretty mountains with the snow.  But the swiss alps are still prettyer, just saying!
